Terms of use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the BP Signs website operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd on behalf of BP Signs. By using this site, you agree to these terms and to all applicable South African laws and municipal requirements.

1. Acceptance of these website terms

This website is provided for general information about BP Signs, its signage services, and the areas it serves from Briardene, Durban North. When you browse the site, submit an enquiry, or request a quotation, you confirm that you are acting lawfully and that the information you provide is accurate, current and complete.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should stop using the website immediately. We may update these terms from time to time, and the updated version will apply from the date it is published on the site.

2. Permitted use of the website

You may use the website to learn about our services, view service area information, and send an enquiry through the contact form. You may not use the site in a way that interferes with normal operation, harms our systems, or attempts to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its related data.

  • Do not submit false, misleading or unlawful information.
  • Do not copy, scrape, or redistribute content without written permission.
  • Do not use the site to send spam, malware, or abusive material.
  • Do not try to bypass security controls or load forms with automated tools.

3. Quotes, measurements and site conditions

Any quotation, estimate, or lead time shared through this website or after a site survey is based on the details available at the time. Final pricing may change if measurements, artwork, mounting surfaces, access, permits, or site conditions differ from what was originally supplied. This includes shopfront installation, vehicle graphics, window frosting, sign refurbishment and maintenance visits.

For signage work in Durban North, Umhlanga, Pinetown, Ballito and surrounding coastal areas, weather exposure, wind load, salt air and load-shedding related access constraints may affect materials, installation dates, and maintenance intervals. Clients are responsible for confirming any body corporate, landlord, municipal or sectional title approvals required for the work.

4. Intellectual property and artwork

All text, layouts, images, service descriptions, logos, graphics and other content on this website remain the property of BP Signs or its licensors, unless stated otherwise. You may view the content on screen for personal or business reference only, but you may not reproduce, modify, publish or sell it without prior written consent.

Where you send artwork, logos or copy for vinyl cutting, digital printing, light boxes, Chromadek, Perspex, ABS signs or contra-vision applications, you confirm that you have the right to use that material. We may refuse any artwork that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing or technically unsuitable. Please check spellings and sizes carefully before approval, because once production starts changes may be limited.

5. Privacy, enquiries and communications

When you complete the enquiry form, you consent to us using the details you provide for replying to your request, preparing a quotation, arranging a site survey, or following up on related services. We handle personal information in line with applicable South African privacy law and only share it where necessary to respond to your enquiry or fulfil a request.

  • We use enquiry details to contact you about your job, quotation, or installation.
  • We may retain records for administration, compliance and service history.
  • We do not promise that online messages are free from interception or technical error.
  • Clients should avoid sending highly sensitive information through the form unless required.

If you contact us outside normal working hours, reply times may vary depending on site work, production schedules and installation commitments. We will make reasonable efforts to respond promptly, but we cannot guarantee immediate feedback.

6. Limitation of liability and site availability

The website is provided on an as is basis for general information only. While we take care to keep the content accurate and current, we do not guarantee that every page will always be available, error free, or suitable for every purpose. Information may change without notice, including service descriptions, area coverage, and operational details.

To the fullest extent allowed by South African law, BP Signs and Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd will not be liable for indirect loss, lost profits, downtime, or damage arising from your use of this website or reliance on the information on it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Governing law and contact route

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from your use of the website or from information submitted through it will be handled in the South African courts or any other lawful forum agreed by the parties.

For questions about these terms, service areas such as Westville, Phoenix, Verulam, Tongaat, or the KZN North Coast, or any website enquiry, please use the enquiry form on the contact page. We do not accept responsibility for messages sent through unofficial channels.

By continuing to use this website, you confirm that you understand and accept these terms. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining parts will still apply.
